Whether you’re matching historic millwork on a restoration or designing something brand new, this is the page that connects you to every profile we make.
Mouldings, profiles, and custom millwork are the heart of Mason’s Mill & Lumber Co. We are the largest and most diverse millwork facility serving architects, designers, builders, remodelers, and homeowners across Texas and the United States.
Every knife we run is ground in-house, which means tighter tolerances, faster turnaround, and the ability to match almost any historic or custom profile you put in front of us.
Browse our 11 moulding categories. Every profile shown is available to order as a $10 sample — credited back toward your full order — so you can hold the real wood and the real profile before you commit.

Custom is where Mason’s Mill earns its reputation. Our in-house architectural millwork facility handles everything from one-off historic matches to full-house production runs and intricate radius work.
Every custom knife is ground in Houston. That means we control accuracy, quality, and turnaround — no waiting on outside vendors. Most custom knives can be ground and a sample run within a few business days of approval.
Provide us with shop drawings, CAD files, or sketches and our team will translate them into ready-to-mill profiles. We can quote against bid sets, value-engineer alternatives, and supply CAD-ready drawings of our standard profiles to drop into your specs.
We run straight, curved, and radius mouldings — including arched casings, eyebrow tops, circular trim for round windows, and matched radius work for domed or barrel-vaulted ceilings. Our team has decades of experience with the geometry of curved millwork.
Send us a drawing, a high-resolution photo, or a physical chunk of your existing moulding. We'll match the profile exactly — including damaged historic mouldings where only a fragment remains. With 8,000+ knives already in our library, there's a good chance we've ground it before.
Matching the right profile to the right architectural period is half the battle on any historic restoration or period-correct new build.
We’ve put together a free style guide covering ten of the most common American architectural traditions — Greek Revival, Federal & Adam, Georgian, Victorian & Eastlake, Italianate, Craftsman, Colonial Revival, Art Deco, Beadboard styles, and Classical Detail — with the typical mouldings used in each
Not sure which style you’re working with? Send us a few photos of your existing trim and we’ll help you identify the period and recommend matching profiles from our library.

Every profile in our catalog is available as a $10 sample in your choice of species. The $10 is credited back toward your full order. Samples can be ordered directly from each product page or by calling (713) 462-6975.
Stock mouldings typically ship within the same business week. Custom mouldings usually ship within 1–3 weeks, depending on whether a new knife needs to be ground, the species, and the size of the run. We provide a written lead time with every quote.
