Beadboard and wainscoting are the workhorse millwork of American interiors, used in every era from Federal-period kitchens to modern farmhouses and mudrooms. The profiles include classic 1.5″ and 3.5″ beaded plank, V-groove and shiplap variants, plus the chair rails, cap mouldings, and base shoes needed to finish a full wainscot run from floor to ceiling. Mason’s Mill stocks 30 beadboard and wainscoting profiles across multiple plank widths and bead spacings, runnable in poplar, pine, oak, and other species. Use these to wrap a mudroom, finish a Victorian kitchen ceiling, build out a porch ceiling, or panel a powder room in any historical style.

Edge banding is used to cover the exposed sides of materials such as plywood, particle board or MDF, increasing durability and giving the appearance of a solid or more valuable material.
Edge banding can be made of different materials including PVC, ABS, acrylic, melamine, wood or wood veneer and use various types of adhesives and glues for attachment.
