We provide precision-milled hardwood and softwood beams and timbers ideal for vaulted ceilings, dining rooms, porch covers, pergolas, and exterior accents. While we don’t construct these structures, our materials bring architectural authenticity to high-end homes and custom builds.
When standard supply falls short, we lean on something stronger—our relationships. Mason’s Mill goes beyond the traditional lumberyard model, tapping into a nationwide network of reclaimers, farmers, and specialty loggers to source unique beams and timbers for projects that demand something exceptional.
Cumaru, also known as "Brazilian teak", is an exotic hardwood that naturally resists rot, decay and insect attack. Cumaru is the second hardest decking wood as well. Cumaru has a 50+ year lifespan without preservatives. Cumaru has many benefits over genuine teak. Cumaru works especially well with face screws or a plug system.
Kiln dried.
Hardwood decking and products manufactured from hardwood decking are natural wood products, and as such will have natural variations in color and grain, including quarter sawn and plain sawn pieces. These variations are an accepted characteristic of these species and products, and are not considered a defect. All decking returns will be subject to a 15% restocking fee if the individual pieces are not found to be defective. Any acceptable returns must be in the exact same condition as when they were purchased.
Hardwood decking and products manufactured from hardwood decking are subject to possible movement in service including expansion and contraction. Some pieces with slight warp are possible as well. It is advised that proper installation techniques are followed to minimize the possible movement in service of these products. Mason’s Mill & Lumber is not responsible for any possible movement in service, as this is a natural characteristic of all wood.
