The Craftsman and Arts & Crafts movement reshaped American homes from roughly 1900 to 1930, rejecting Victorian ornament in favor of honest joinery, exposed structure, and quiet horizontal lines. Craftsman moulding is restrained and rectilinear — flat-stock casings with simple back-band trim, wide picture rails, plate rails, deep door headers, and beam-style ceiling trim meant to be read clearly from across the room. For Kebony® decking, the Kebony PRS System automatically creates an air gap of either 3/4” (high-profile clip) or 3/8” (low-profile clip). Be sure to choose the correct clip profile for your project.
The PRS clips should be installed directly to the studs over a suitable house underlayment or drainage wrap. Studs should be placed no more than 24” on center.
