Vivid White Oak is part of Thermory’s Vivid Translucent collection — a factory-applied wood finish system that delivers a warm, neutral tone that highlights the wood’s natural elegance with a light oak-like cast. The full Vivid line includes Silver, Black, Coastal White, White Oak, Exotic Brown, and Golden Brown. Recoating interval: 2–7 years depending on UV exposure.
What is Thermory Scots Pine?
Thermory Scots Pine is warm golden-brown with characteristic knot pattern. Each board is thermally modified at 215°C / 419°F using only heat and steam — no chemicals added. The result: Durability Class 2 (15+ years decay protection), dramatically lower moisture absorption, and superior dimensional stability compared to untreated scots pine. Material is responsibly sourced from Northern Europe.
How is the finish applied?
Vivid White Oak is mill-applied — the finish is sprayed in a controlled factory environment, not on the jobsite.
