Our pattern grade genuine mahogany is out of South America and is commonly referred to as “Honduran mahogany”. The highest grade of mahogany available (virtually defect-free), this is selected for its straight grain and used for producing high quality, accurate patterns and models. These boards have been selected for their clarity and uniform grain, making them excellent for wood patterns that need to retain their perfect shape.

When used for cabinetry and furniture, the stability of pattern grade material is unmatched. The grain is very uniform and creates a beautifully uniform look across a large project like a big bookcase or even a kitchen.
