Mason’s Mill & Lumber offers an extensive selection of red oak and white oak stair treads in a variety of dimensions. For projects requiring a unique touch, we specialize in crafting custom stair treads in a wide range of wood species, including walnut, rift and quartered oak, pecan, hickory, Brazilian cherry, and mahogany. We can also create custom treads to seamlessly match exotic flooring species, ensuring a cohesive look for any project.
The unique natural patina of reclaimed white oak makes for a beautifully aged appearance in projects and is often used to make custom furniture, flooring and other millwork. Some of the character and aging marks found in antique oak lumber are things like nail holes, bolt holes, knots and aged stress cracks.
Recently acquired reclaimed antique white oak boasts beautiful features not commonly found in new-growth traditionally sawn white oak.
