What is Thermory Scots Pine?
Thermory Scots Pine is warm golden-brown with characteristic knot pattern. Each board is thermally modified at 215°C / 419°F using only heat and steam — no chemicals added. The result: Durability Class 2 (15+ years decay protection), dramatically lower moisture absorption, and superior dimensional stability compared to untreated scots pine. Material is responsibly sourced from Northern Europe.
How is the finish applied?
Vivid Golden Brown is mill-applied — the finish is sprayed in a controlled factory environment, not on the jobsite.
